I was swapping wheels on my 01 and 02 and noticed they are different. The 02 is all original. I bought the 01 with aftermarket wheels which I hated and bought the cheapest set of OEM wheels I could find on a local auction site. The seller said they were aftermarket but they looked the part. To my surprise I found out yesterday that they are in fact original early 01 solid 996tt wheels. I thought all the turbo wheel where hollow spoke.

Purchased my 2004 996 Turbo Cabriolet 6spd earlier this summer. We've had a lot of fun together so far. Here are some recent shots after a full PPF (done by Unique Auto Films in Los Angeles area who did a great job). I have a set of Sport Technos and a PCCM+ in the garage that I am debating swapping in... Any thoughts?

I haven't got around to posting pics of my 996TT since getting her back from a refresh last year:
Got rid of the old suspension, Victor Equipment wheels out for powder coated OEM Turbo twists (darker Turbo S Grey)... tons of refreshed bits underneath. Oh, and converted to RWD
I dub the yellow bee the "Gentleman's GT2"

Agreed something looks off in above pic. Could it be that the wheels are buried in the wheel wells AKA missing spacers and its stock suspension? My car is on original NA suspension and it doesn’t look like this.
I do agree I like this factory option wheel.
