Default Rattle in roof

Hi guys. I have a rattle sound coming from the roof every time I hit an imperfection on the road. It's sounds like a slack or untighten bolt or something like this.

My TT has a sunroof, by the way.

Any help appreciated.

I have something similar. Not so much of a rattle as more of a squeaky sound. Seems to come from the passenger side, slightly behind the passenger seat.

How difficult is it to remove the headliner? Never really looked into it but my sunroof makes a super loud clanking noise when closing. Sounds like something gets caught when closing and finally let's go couple inches later causing a loud clunk noise.

If it is not the sunroof, there is a stretch rod toward the back of the headliner under the trim. the foam tape solution described in the first link will handle that.

I recently got my Porsche Dealership to sort out the Sunroof rattle it cost me $200. But was worth it if you not a DIY interior person.

Also the Wurth rubber care spray on the window rubbers also gets rid of a lot of sqeaky noise from the cabin.

2001 TT
it's the headliner support wire just under the headliner, and its a royal PITA to get it snapped back into alignment. MAN is that rattle chirp/cricket sound annoying. i hear your pain.

I've been able to snap it back but it'll still occasionally chirp/rattle and make sounds resembling a cricket. really. it sucks.
