Default Bilstein B8 struts in stock?

Hey everyone, looks like the front B8 struts are on backorder till June. I contacted several places that sell them but none have them in stock. Anyone know of a place that might have some in stock?

I bought all 4 B8 struts from ajusa for about $215 a corner. Rears already came in but don't want to wait till June if a can buy fronts from now.

Thanks

Thanks, yes they do. Damon will see what they can do to come closer to that price from ajusa. Worse case I wait till June and save close to $200.

How did you find them on ajusa? They aren't even listed when I search for suspension parts for an 03 Turbo.

Search by part #, 22-052728. It is a hit or missing using their compatibility functionality from their main page.

Once you find the part, you can then input your car info and it will show all their compatible parts:

http://www.ajusa.com/2001-Porsche-91...2d36q677c.html

I cross referenced the front and back B8 part# with Bilstein catalog, all match up. Paid $838.00 for B8 fronts and back. Will pair up quite nicely with H&R springs, new bearings, and new top mounts.

BTW, they are back in stock as of today. Bilstein sent out a shipment of b8 way ahead of schedule. Mine are being shipped today.

Awesome. Thanks! I figured you needed the part number but I couldn't find it with a quick search.

I'll be interested to hear your impressions of the setup because I'm considering the same thing.

I just came back from Fontana Speedway today for Porsche meet and saw Bilstein booth and asked about getting a set myself.
Interested which H&R springs you planning to get. Bilstien booth told me before they have the combo set. But aren't available at this time. I guess I have to get them separately.

I'm only aware of H&R making one type of springs for a 996tt, Sport Springs. They should pair up with B8 struts' firmer valving really well. Also since the sport springs lower about 25mm, the B8 are designed for lowering springs and are 20mm shorter then stock struts.

I think for my daily driving, these will be great. Since I found the 4 struts for under $850 shipped, and H&R springs were around $230 shipped from ECS, I think this setup will be a nice upgrade from OEM suspension.

Keep in mind, top mounts and bearings need to be replaced as well, and those aren't really cheap.

Thanks, let me know when you get them installed and how it rides.

Cheers!
