The car listed on ebay appears to be different from the one they have listed from RM. The RM tt doesn't have wood and show under 13k miles. Something is off..

How do you see that RM info? All I see is the eBay pics, etc.

Found it on RM's site. The pic on ebay, could be just for reference or wishful thinking.

Odd, so the seller included a picture of a low-mile RM car showing that high price in order to juice the price of the eBay vehicle? Humans, ugh. The eBay VIN does spec the wood, so at least some of the shots are presumably legit.

Those are not the same car different vins! Must have included the pic just to show what the cars historically sell for.

This one has been for sale since last November. Initially priced at about $66k. I spoke with the dealer and they were unwilling to move off the $58.5k price. He thought he had dropped the price enough when in truth the original price was $10k too high.

It had a "sold" sign two weeks ago but suddenly popped up again for sale this week. I assume the deal fell through. Comes with a 2nd set of rims and hardtop. I thought a $56.5k offer was fair for this "tip" car. They've now dropped to $57,950. In the interim, I've decided it's not for me. But if someone wants a tip with a few nice options you might want to consider this one. Color combination is good. In truth, I wouldn't let $1k come between me and a car I really wanted. If it was a manual, I would get it.

While we're talking about cars that have been on the market for a while...
All 3 below have been on the market since AT LEAST Nov. 2018. Don't know what's going on with the white one, thought it sold on Barrett, but maybe it didn't?

They are overpriced imo especially the tips. With 997s and now 991s coming down in price 996s are looking a bit overpriced, unless you are specifically looking to buy a 996.

When I was in the market I recall seeing the yellow and gray one. At that time, I was open to a tip for the right deal but wasn’t willing to pay manual price premium for one. They’re both overpriced as was stated.

The manual looked good good but I didn’t want ceramic brakes. And while I understand the dealership doesn’t want to give test drives to tire kickers, the last line turned me off from pursuing further.

Is there something wrong with the car?

It may be those things on the lights - are those the 997 style 'covers'?

Love the wheels.
