msindi, how did you come to the conclusion that the H&R sways are better?

Oak, the baller of all ballers, even you know that an H&R stamp and polyurethane bushings means it's automatically better. Actually, GT3 sways are 5-6way adjustable, right? I like my H&R sways but damned they are noisy and cause a lot of clunking noises. Also the rear one rubs and has poor fitment.

Sharkey, I'm no baller, but I do know that the GT3's have a 4way adjustable capabilites with the correct drop links.

I have no issues with my sways or H&R suspension. The GT3 sways are hollow and weigh probably close to half the weight as the H&R less unsprung weight. I think they are much more compliant than the solid type. IMO, I thnk the turbo handles much better on the loose side. But hey what do I know.

HREs=BALLER

Ah 4 way? OK, I knew they had more settings than the H&Rs. I figure my drop links don't like the H&Rs for some reason. Noisey/clunky etc...

I think the H&Rs are a bit lighter than the stockers if I remember correctly but I'd imainge the hollow ones would obviously be lighter. I kinda agree with you on that last point, I actually loosened my rear from the stiff to medium setting this weekend... Too many tail happy experiences.

I would ditch the little 3.6 and drop a 604 c.i. quad rotor hemi (the purple one on the right) The 1000hp should really increase the 1/4 mile times!

Default From Mike at AWE RE; H&R's

still have not forgotten about you.

My last conversation with H&R is that they are going to totally redesign
the bar to fix the rubbing issue. There original intent was to add a
spacer, but the idea has been scrapped.

All customers that are having problems will be sent a new bar free of
charge. The current part # has been retired and a new # will be issued.

They did not have a delivery time frame as of yet, but asked that all
inquiries be handled through AWE Tuning.

Once again, thank you for your patience. This is still top priority

Oh.....I guess that would make them better.

You can't beleive everything someone tells you, I know many that have the GT3 sways and I don't know one person that has a problem with them rubbing. There have been some with problems with some DL's, but I don't think they were installed correctly.

You can still use the stock DL's, but what's the point if you can't adjust them. I have the TRG drop links and no problems rubbing. Solid.

Oak is da expert (before I did anythng and even bought my car I used to always ask him for his opinion and experience...he knows a lot about these cars!!)...I was just relating what other people have said in previous threads..
However, I do believe that the H&R sways are thicker than the GT3 ones...Then again, the GT3 ones are hollow and thus lighter...

The set-up that I prefer on the GT-3s for spirited canyon blasting is- rear at stiffest setting and front in the middle setting. This allows the front end and rear end to break loose at the same time in hard cornering. I'm using the stock D.L.s in front, while Racer's Group finishes building links that don't rub in front. At full lock there was a slight rub on the axle with R.G.s original front links. If you adjust the fronts too stiff the turn-in sucks and the front end plows too much. BTW- the stock D.L.s DO ALLOW adjust-ability, possibly not the full range though.

At $205 the B&M is, by far, the biggest bang for your buck mod out there. As our friends at the sneaker stand say- "Just Do It!!!

Not sure it's a "mod" but R compound tires can be the one thing that pushes the lap time of the car the most.
