Huh; it certainly will be interesting to see where that ends up. I bet they will lose a ton compared to what went into building it. While it certainly sounds impressive it doesn't have(or they didn't list) any real racing pedigree/accomplishments. Seems to me like the appeal might be pretty limited; I think $100K will be a stretch. At least it doesn't have PCCB'! (sorry, had to)

Judging from who built this and where it came from, it wouldn't surprise me if they are in it a million. He spent that much just building the ultimate DSR.

There isn't a real good shot of the rear bumper but it says it has DP motorsport body parts. Here is a rear shot of another DP body 996 turbo for reference...

Yep you have to realize that Scott Tucker owner of level 5 spent a million on a DSR, normally these are powered by a 1000cc super bike motor and in that form are some of the fastest laps on a track, think almost P1 Le Mans car fast, and he built a turbo charge one because of a SCCA rule which allowed a turbo charger on a 650cc. He did builds with no limits. That's why I say there is probably a million in this turbo also. This car won 3 national championships in SCCA STO.

Probably to fit the carbon RSR body work. Depending on running condition and hours on current drivetrain this thing would be a steal for less than 150k
Here is a pod cast Slip Angle where they talk about building and developing the car with the engineer Jeff Braun pretty pretty cool. It kinda give you the idea how crazy it is.

So, the Hurricane sold last weekend for $129,000...guessing it's probably because you will need a race crew to keep it running at 100% Beast of a car! Maybe Powdrhound bought it???

Up for auction tomorrow at Mecum Indy a car we saw sell back in January 2017 at Mecum Kissimmee for $75,000 (see page 7 of this thread)...

Now estimated at $100,000 - $125,000 by the auction house.
