Time capsule car - 4,159 mile 2001 996tt 6 speed, guards red over black, lightly optioned in New Jersey. Current bid $55,100 reserve not met. http://slo.craigslist.org/ctd/5314243802.html
I can't help but wonder if this car would sell if it had a set of plain old stock silver turbo twists. It has been on the market since last spring when I started searching.
Asking $35,995, 6 speed, black interior, 73k miles. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...m=191738320392
It is an interesting car... Wheels really do kill it, but finding some wide-body oem twists wouldn't be hard. Modified cars scare the hell out of me if I don't know the details of who/what/when, and clearly this one has had some expensive (fabspeed) as well as questionable (wheels, spoiler) modifications, who knows what else. Exhaust tips don't look stock, and it's hard to tell with the wheels, but the suspension looks like it might have been jacked with as well. Dealer clearly does't know squat about what he has...
Anybody nearby this dealer to put eyes on this car?

I kinda like the wheels. You can do a pad change without even removing them. Practical.
The reason I'd not even bother looking a second time is the armor-all'd interior. I learned very quickly when buying my first car at 16 that this was a sure sign that you want to stay away from the car.
