The Jacksonville CL ad is definitely a fake/scam. I guess they are getting a little wiser though. Usually those types of ads will have much crazier prices like sub 30k.

There is a Lupitas auto sales in Jacksonville but they have no Porsches in inventory so SCAM alert!

If legit this seems like a great deal for someone. Manual; X50; LOW MILES. Has anyone run the VIN? Other than some wear near the seat lever, the car looks beautiful.

It's Idaho btw, not Indiana Thanks for doing the legwork, seems like a great deal. I routinely see vehicles from Miami and Phoenix posted in the Dallas and Houston CL, I figured they know where the money is

Tourist delivery? I assume that is picking up your new Porsche at the factory, yes? Adds to the cost, but not the value of the car down the road. One would need to exclude those from any computation of current value, not a physical attribute of the vehicle.

As stated before, this car is a scam. Much of Lupitas "inventory" is pulled from the sold cars on this site http://silverarrowcars.com/
They even copied the description for the most part.

How does that scam work? You send money to hold the vehicle, etc?

IDK about this one. I actually called them and they told me to come and take the car for a drive! Most of these scams they tell you the owner is overseas and the car is in storage but they will deliver to you with a deposit and give you a week to decide if you want to keep it. I've asked to come to see the car in storage and of course, there is just no way they can do that! BUT they will ship for free and you have a week to decide! NOBODY but NOBODY will sell a car this way...

Maybe its a small dealer that changed locations. What would you guys expect one like this to go for if everything checked out?

Recently joined forum after a bit of lurking. My dad had like 5 or 6 porsche's when I was growing up including an 87 Turbo in guards red on black. That thing moved. He even went to the factory and picked up his next 911 carrera and I have pics of the 959's on the lot but not sure what year that would be without looking it up.

I am looking at the 996 Turbo, 996 4s and the cayman s (considering the non boosts for modifications).

Best,
MS930
