Default I have been offered GT3 brakes, should I run with them?

I have been offered a complete set of near new GT3 brake calipers, discs, pads and brake lines for a really hot price. My brakes as they are seem fine for my use BUT I'm very tempted.

I could put my brakes up for sale and reap some of the cost. Is this a good idea?

I have 996 GT3 calipers front and rear, with 997tt rotors.

An impressive upgrade, I'd do it. 997 GT3 calipers have different piston sizes intended for that cars different brake bias.

997TT discs up front, and any 350mm 997 disc in the back (TT, GT3, Panamera TT, etc)

I did mention to my indie that I had advise that these brakes will not fit and to make a point he installed one front set and sent me this pic.
My current rear discs seem to warp through spirited drive through the hills but do correct themselves once cooled down. Hopefully new ones will eliminate this.

Not my rotors, its the GT3 ones, just surface rust which would clean up after a couple of breaking applications.
Popcorn sounds good....pass them around.

ask him for a picture head-down on the caliper...see if the disc is centred in the caliper
GT3 calipers can be red or yellow, front calipers are the same mechanically regardless of paint colour
