I just looked at the article. It was in an issue entitled "New Cars For 2004 & 2005", so I suspect that it was a model year 2004 X50 they tested. However, as far as I know (and I asked my dealer several times) there are no drive train or transmission changes from model year 2003 to 2004, so it's basically the same car. Alfie, is this correct?

Porsche has not mentioned that there is a power increase for 2004, though the current order guide with pricing is not quite complete and not quite correct, so i cant say yet with any certainty.
