got slammed with gust of wind at 164 on a road section with 20 foot drop down shoulders, attention getting at the least and led further gusts made me think i had a bad tyre leading to careful checks

Burning Brakes
Watt,
Awesome! So, what was the fastest speed you reached?
Grasshoppers? I guess I never figured on those out there. By the looks of it, it seems they could have a substantial impact on the cooling ability of the car the way they are caked onto the radiator.

ken,
165 was my "tech" and top speed. you need fuel cell and IRC to go faster.
my car stayed at 182 degrees, except 190 when pounding up the hill out of Death Valley w/ AC blasting, regardless of grasshoppers, a tribute to gt2 cooling system. some unlimited speed cars lost power from the grasshoppers cutting off their air intake.
a good race with just a couple blown engines and everyone safe and alive.
if you look you can see my black valence turning brown, but after another 660 miles homes to Malibu it was hilariously brown/
