Congrats on owning it for 5 years now. Recognize the original pics when you bought it as being from Thomas Classics.

Not easy to find a TTS coupe like that. Let alone one in such a great spec and that appears to be in great condition.

Here's to enjoying it for another 5 years in good health, both you and the car.

Fed up with the SUV height I had my turbo lowered. It was lowered 5/8” both front and rear. Amazing how such a small amount improves the look. Here it is with my summer rims. I won’t see how it looks with the stock rims until this fall.

Looks good... I'm very partial to a black rim over a yellow caliper, it really pops.

Welcome to the un-truck turbo world...

Thank you.

I fought lowering it for 7 years. I’m still fighting changing the exhaust,

Ahhhhhh, you hear the Dark Side calling...

Gooooooood, very Gooooooood.....

Most certainly changed the character of the engine, a worthwhile mod.

Oh, great, now your car looks even better. I guess I won't be driving my 996tt to breakfast anymore on Saturdays unless you're bringing one of your other cars.

Looks great! I'm still at stock ride height but I don't want to go too low, how did you lower yours just 5/8" ? Coilovers?

Thanks!

I just changed the springs and used H&R sport springs with stock dampers. The dampers are still in great condition. Like you I didn’t want to go too low.
