Very nice example , well done . Enjoy it for a while as it is .
I got mine back in July and have kept stock so far but have decided on an Ohlins
Suspension upgrade now and then maybe a tune up ... I sold my 964 turbo Partly
So that i can mod my car to how i want it and drive it more . Its nice that these cars hold
Their value but are not going to shoot up like the a/c turbos To collector only status .

Awesome color combo. Looks much like my Seal Gray exterior.
Enjoy

LOL. I think people just enjoy speculating. However, it would be nice to take delivery first.

I can say I have never bought or will ever buy a car as a speculator. I love Porsches and love driving them. When I bought my SC in 1984 which I still own, future value wasn't a consideration. My kids grew up in this car; they still remember being in car seats and able to go out on the track during the reduced speed family laps. I can't put a value on this. 213k miles and the engine has never been touched. With SSI headers it runs better than it did 31 years ago. That's what it's about for me. Same applied for my 993, bought it because I loved the look and the same applies for this turbo. The future holds what it holds.

Love the leather color, same as my Millennium edition Carrera. Here is a pic with black floor matt.

Very nice. I like the contrast. I may get some black floor mats as well to help conserve the originals.

My turbo finally arrived today. It took a while to line up a shipper but she arrived intact. It was delayed further because of bad weather at the pickup location. I bought it Christmas eve but the truck only pulled up in front of the house this afternoon. Took so long I only have two weeks left on the 30 day tags. It worked out because the car cover arrived an hour before the car was delivered. I picked up one of the gray covers with the Porsche emblem on front, nice touch for the 996.

I took a quick drive and filled it up then spent the evening cleaning. Seal gray cleans up real good. I've got her tucked in under the 993 in it's new home. Took this photo with my cell phone.

Man, this thing has some torque.

What a gorgeous car. Congrats! I suppose my new x50 with PCCBs is kind of an "S" without the label.

Any plans for the car?

Enjoy.

Thanks. For now the plan is to keep her stock. 450 HP+ is plenty for me. My only plan for tomorrow is to take it down this curvy road I know.

Tonight, I gave it a good wash, put on a thin layer of wax, treated all the leather with leatherique, put Gummi Pflege on the rubber seals, dumped in some Techron, and put the battery on a charger to make sure it's maxed out. A good first night.
