Ohlins are top of the line so I'm sure they are a good setup, although I can't speak from experience, I had Motons.
What I can say for sure is do your homework ahead of time and make an informed choice of springs. They will make or break your shock choice, especially on the turbo, especially if you will be tracking.

not alot of tracking car will have too much power to be competitive honestly.
want good road ride ability to adjust suspension to the event, street, mile, roll racing, track.
Ohlins has a great name but not always are the lower lines good in big companies so, trying to see what the scoop is on these reasonably priced road and track units 2800$ for a set KW prices are about 3200 from some forum vendors

+1 what Larry said about the springs.
The supplied KW V3 springs are too soft for tracking. Right now I am running KW V3s with H&R 700F/1000R springs. Fronts are being changed to 800s soon.
Look at the KW CS too.

what were the supplied springs on the kw v3?
im looking at 3k for shocks or under (this would be stock shocks and lowering springs)
Clubsport/motons/ohlins ttx all those are more for a track car and this is not a dedicated track car.

I have had good luck with JRZs, both RS1 on current car, and their 2-way race series. I agree with what was said about the springs. That choice will make or break the damper choice - and is very personal.
Any of the three mentioned are better than the Bilsteins most talk about - better ride height adjustabaility
My RS1s are for street use only, but can be tracked

A H&R coil over set costs about $2300 from Tire Rack.

For your needs, I would probably go with the Ohlins. They would probably have the best road feel from what I've gathered. And I have been doing a LOT of research myself lately. The DFV technology is said to be superb over bumps and undulations.
Also, don't forget to consider Motion Control 1 ways. They are only $2700 for the TT. High quality stuff. And upgrade-able to 2 way remote canisters.
Wow bro, that's heavy for no aero on your car. Does it push much? Do you know off hand how much rake is in your chassis (ride heights?).
I ran 600/900, went to 900/1100 and car would not set right, maybe due to the dampening of the JIC's, it was just too stiff unless I had slicks on the car.

The KW V3s have a good adjustment range with 18 rebound and 12 bump settings for fine tuning.
