Stick the cardboard tube from a wrapping paper roll onto your vacuum.

Try this: take the hose from an air compressor, take a plastic tye and arrange it on the trigger at the end of the hose so that the blast of air stays on continuesly then manauner the hose in the grille opening like using say a snake to clean out drain pipe.
