Default Refreshing leather trim?

Some of my interior leather trim around the seatbelt area looks faded and scuffed. Any tricks to refresh it and make it look black again? I was told shoe polish will work, anyone try this?
Thanks!

I used a mobile interior leather repair tech service...way cheaper than buying new panels and looks great.

Shoe polish works but it is only a temporary fix.

And I'd suspect there would be dye transfer to his clothing.

A friend who owned a dealership used shoe polish but that was in the 90s there are better alternatives now such as suggested by LexVan.

I have graphite grey and used leatherique to redo some parts. It's a bit of a process the first time but the result is an oem finish. You have to follow the directions and I used a spray gun to apply the dye.
