Default What is this 996TT worth

Nice car....but doesn't $79K seems high ??

https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...onversion.html

Would consider buying it but I can't seem to figure out how to get to a $79K valuation or anywhere near that price. Where am I wrong?

Thx

I agree he is trying to recoup his RUF upgrades. When you do mods, you can't expect to recoup what you put into it!

Beautiful car but don't see it worth the price without the RUF motor upgrades.

I love this car but agree with above - without the engine and RUF vin it's tough, although it would be more expensive with the real RUF ancestry.

Either way it's a gorgeous car and would save someone a lot of time if that's how they would build it anyway. Plus - the seller is in no way trying to say it's a true RUF - he's totally honest with all the stuff he's done to it.

It simply an awesome car. I bet he can get 65K-70K. It will appeal to the right buyer. The color is fantastic and it is very well done.

It's a nice car...not 79k, very nice though, I think the color is going to have to wait for the right buyer.

I don't see the ruf motor work or turbos in the description?

Non ruf vin 996 rturbo conversions are going for 55-65k

Off topic but I'm kicking around the idea of finding a higher mileage 996 turbo, doing the rwd conversion and having the 996 RSR body work installed, all at a high level...

you should be able to find one already done and save yourself a lot of money...unless the build will be a hobby for you.

The work done RUF was expensive. The price all comes down to whether someone will buy it.

My guess would've been a sale price closer to $60K

79k my be on the high side for this car but "closer to 60" is to low. IMHO. Someone looking to do the 550 conversion will have a nicely sorted out R Turbo after that. The car is almost there. The R Turbos that have sold in the 50 or 60s do have the engine conversion but little else. To get them to this car's point would cost how much? Color and condition for the right buyer will bring a primium in some cases. Just my 2 cents Cheers.

Think 60 is too high for a 2001 with not being a full RUF. More like in the 50's is probably fair.
