i really liked my x50 car. those few extra factory horses i suppose.
"the transmission being strengthened"? where'd that one come from? i'm confident that isn't part of any x50 package(?) but add the aero kit and you have a fantastic specimen. now i know why i shared your enthusiasm for the car.

Thanks for the X50 info. I like the idea of the transmission upgrade. I hope it's true. The exhaust is louder than my C4 but the Nav radio attenuator works really well. A small item I didn't realise I would like so much.
I'm removing the 3M clear bra. Looks OK but probally has been there since the car was new and maybe not as slick as it once was.
Anyone know where I can get some GT3 wheels?

old news, is sometimes no news. i dunno man. nothing conclusive there. the x50 has triple cone synchros just like the std 6spd does... and the talk of steel. i'm calling i'net legend ( though not legion LOL )
and not for nothing.. i had to open up my x50 cars trans TWICE. to repair for 2nd gear. nothing stronger in that one. whereas, my current car at 104,000 miles has never missed a shift ( at least on my watch lol )..
equally inconclusive,.. but possibly instructive. who knows.

Interesting transmission stuff. Sadly; I don't think I would break a transmission, even if it made of paper mache. ..I do like to have cool hardware eventhough.
Those wheels look good on your car. What are they going for these days?

I spent $2,160 on a refinished set and $1,700 on a 'decent' set. Both of those prices included shipping.
