I know it's an old thread but figured I would chime in.
I bought this lip and installed it on my 996 Anniversary (turbo front bumper).
Pluses:
- It looks to be a very durable part
- It's cheap
- Fitment is 98%
Minuses:
- Fitment although 98% is very difficult to install. Spent about an hour with the heat gun. Takes a long time to expand
- The finish isn't that great IMO. Kind of a glossy look to it. But it's inconsistent. Doesn't look good out of box. I'm going to either spray it with a matte or have it wrapped matte 3m vinyl or Carbon fiber. Take that into consideration if you are deciding between the ebay Bayson R Lip or a more expensive with perhaps carbon fiber.
- The tabs they give you for the ends did not fit, had to re-use OEM screws
- As others have noted, it does not "jut" out in the middle like the OEM aero lip does. It is slightly more flat. I don't really mind it, but would prefer to jut more.
- Comes completely folded almost and very difficult to get it to release back to molded form
Overall I'll rock it especially after refinishing it more consistent. For the price not bad, but realize it isn't as quality as an OEM part, but then again it's about 25% the price of OEM.

The turbo/4S lip I ordered from xcessmotors on ebay has plastic flashing covering all the tab cutouts. If I decide to keep it, I'll have to cut them all out by hand. Also, no hole in the ends for the factory fastener/washer. I'll update if/when I install with results. First thing I'm doing is contacting the seller to see if they have better batch quality they can send me. It was $74, so I'm not too surprised it would need work to function.

Previously I'd gotten a knock-off aerokit style spoiler via eBay and it too took a lot of effort to get the ends to reach. More important, the shape was somewhat more 'wavy' than I'd have liked.

I just plastidipped my $100 Aero Kit rep from eBay and now I am completely satisfied with it. Looks amazing in a flat/even texture. Out of the box finish isn't good but now perfect for $15 worth of plastidip. I'll post a pic when it's completely dry.

I do not understand why it is taking an hour to install these spoilers? I have swapped mine twice and each time it took me literallly three minutes.
Leave the new spoiler in the sun for a ten minutes. Place it on the car starting at the center and work it into place around to each end and then use a thin metal putty knife to guide/slip the ends over the edge of the wheel arch. Screw in the two OEM securing screws. Presto you are done.

Maybe quality control varies. I'm telling you was nearly impossible to do on mine. I've done a dozen lips on various other cars. This was the most difficult but coolest way of attaching (minimal screws).

I've read leaving it in the sun (if you have any right now) for a few hours lets it relax a bit and makes installation much easier. Mine should be here tomorrow hopefully.

Weird that it takes an hour. I did my friend’s in 25 degree weather with a heat gun in 5 mins. And there is no need to cut out the plastic flashing covering the holes as long as they are cupped shaped. Also it’s way easier to start with one end install correctly then work towards the other side, just a little tug works.

the seller of these units is not far from me.
I have been to their place in person.
i purchased multiple of the chin spoilers.
never had any issues. 5 minute installs.
i also have oem units and to me quality is almost just as good.

could you post pics of the bottoms of these? Have you painted the replacement curious how smooth and if they need much prep work prior to paint.
