Had PSS9s on my 01 Turbo and have stock suspension on my 04 Turbo. For only street driving I can't tell any difference and I wouldn't pay $4k for it. I'd much rather pay that $$$ for a driving
school and definitely make myself a better driver than buying mods that "might" end up feeling worthwhile to you.

I know it's all subjective, so this is just my worthless opinion.

Bought my 04 in 07. It had some funky lowering springs and a trerrible ride. Put PSS9 on first 30 days got stance I wanted, got quieter ride and handles like a go cart. Took about 6 months to get the settings to my liking but was a fun process Do not track my car AM I enjoying my $4k expendure?? Damm right Make sure you corner balance after install.
Have Fun

This is why I will be going with coilovers. Much more compliant ride.

Also- I read on one of the air cooled forums that the KWv3 uses a stainless steel body- the PSS10 does not. So, if corrosion could be an issue- the KW may be the way to go for you.

I've been told by a reputable tuner that the KW has a more compliant ride than the PSS10.

I went with the PSS10...now time for me to shut-up:-)

Taylor got them for a great price for me, so I need to just get it done and quit fretting about it.

Yes...I will do a thorough before/after write-up after March 1st to describe this whole scenario to other P-Car newbies like myself---with pics and details. I went around and around too many times with this not to offer something back to the group for all of the help.

This is absolutely true. I initially put PSS9's on my car and found them to be undersprung for the turbo's weight on the track. Went to Motons with a stiffer spring set to get the needed balance for sustained high speed driving.

No worries...I won't be tracking my car even moderately. Maybe once or twice a year with buddies for fun---at the most. I kind of lost the track "bug" after years of doing in on motorcycles.

I think you will be happy with the result.

Picking up my car on Thursday with the PSS10s on it. Every person I talked to who has coilovers loves them. Will let you know what I think. Major motivation was to lower the car. Some say the ride improves (we'll see). Some say that lowering springs aren't ideal cause the shock wasn't designed for the limited range of travel and that coilovers are the best practice (hard to know). Regarding the track concept, it's nice to have but hard to believe that I'll get skilled enough as an occasional track driver to find that the stock suspension inadequate and the limiting factor on my performance (it's the archer not the arrow as I learned when I was behind the wheel of an M5 following a "professional" driver in a 325 around the BMW Performance Center track - he was giving me a lesson and said "just try to keep up" it was humbling).
