hi guys, just got back from a high speed run on the German autobahn. Ran up to 275kms, had to back off in traffic, put my foot back down again from about 220, got to 265kms and it was if the car started misfiring, a bit like rev limiter but a lot softer, and the car kept accelerating.

What do you think, plug, coil pack, or perhaps a pressure leak. It has a tune, but tomorrow morning I am putting back to standard with the help of Kevin, before installing the UMW flash. I suspect the best bet is change software and take a run download for Kevin??

Steve, If you are running the previous tuned file, you have alot of ignition advance. You need good fuel. The ECU will pull timing and boost if you have any forms of a misfire. If you plugs have greater than 20K on them>> replace them.

plugs were done in the last 5000km so roughly 3000mls, should be good?

Kevin what are your thoughts of copper vs platinum plugs on modded cars? Any big difference besides service life? Heat range being the same of course.

Go with copper! I feel they do a better job against fuel deposits
