PCCB replacement question...
Hi,
I have the pccb on my 996TTS . I have been told if I want to go for steel rotors I can fit some 997 Turbo steel rotors, will fit my calipers. Will fit straight on it . Is it true? Thanks for your help.

Interesting !! For front and rear ? Do you know whish pads I can use as well ? I know there is some kits out there available to replace the pccb rotors but they are too expensive .....fitting Porsche rotors is the way to go. Many thanks for your reply

For pads it depends if you want standard 997 turbo, GT3 or a more aggressive Pagid like the RS19/29. I believe that the standard 997t rear rotor will marry up to the 996t PCCB caliper, as should the 996 GT3 MKII rear rotor as the offsets are the same I think.

They are so expensive to replace, that's why !! I go to the Nurburgring once a year and the discs only need to be too hot once to carbonised and feel apart....later.
Just want to remove them, store them in a box and fit some steel one. The day I sell the car I can offer the original rotors with the car.
Actually at the Nurburgring nearly every hardcore Porsche drivers with pccb simply go for steel !!! When I ask them why they say because they are crap !!!! and there it isn't a track very hard on brakes....
On the road they are ok but they don't a good initial bite .
