for the stock K24s, that is too much. Are you sure it is sustained boost? I would dial it back to 1.2.

Boost leak. When I had a similar issue, it was due to a hose that got disconnected from my N75 valve.

Not sure it was sustained boost. When I saw 1.4, I backed off. Haven't looked into it much, don't often get it on. I have had the car for only a year; Thought Softronic would not go past 1.2. Waste gates not dumping (hose leak) or is the flash allowing that much boost..
Thanks for your help.

Likely you have an issue...like a boost leak or stuck WGs.

Check your N75 and make sure all 3 hoses are connected. That was my issue with similar symptoms.

your car "runs like a rocket". you saw 1.4 momentarily? it's not as if you'll be seeing 1.4 often. i run a 1.2 flash and i see 1.3 only on national holidays. i'm not sure you have a problem. "sustained" is a relative term.

My 2004 996TT x50 pops 1.4 every so often, not sustained, 1.3 to 1.4 is where it usually tops off. This is normal on a X50 per Porsche Mechanic. Do pop off an intercooler hose once from this, seems the clamp was a little loose, no problem since. Have noticed my bailey valves are getting quieter with use, when first installed I sounded like a WRX with no air box.

1.4 is too high for a car that wasn't flashed for it.
