the hoses had armour all on them. I had the car looked over by ruf in Carrollton texas. They say it is the finest example of an 03 they have seen . Deal is done. should have the car in about ten days. thanks to all for their input. Here is a picture

As an aside, since we here in the US got stuck with rear bumperettes (unpainted to boot 
), you might consider sending yours to Eric at Bumperplugs.com and having them painted to match.
Eric is the DaVinci of Porsche paint matched products. I think the painted rear bumperettes on the Turbo look better than the black finish. He did my Lapis Blue ones many years ago and it is absolutely OEM looking.
