My car came with a heavy and non-functioning rear subwoofer that was built on top of the top section of the rear parcel shelf. I removed the subwoofer but now there is just a non-fitting, non-factory, incorrectly colored piece of carpet sitting atop the body. I have the diagrams from Porsche of the rear parcel shelf but they are very difficult to interpret as 1 diagram is for surface parts (ie carpet) and the other is for the pieces underneath. Regardless, they make no sense and Sunset Porsche was unsure which parts for under-the-carpet I would need.
So, has anyone photographed the removal of their rear parcel shelf for a roll bar or suspension install that they can share with me? My car has the carpet for the seatbacks, but not the carpet and ancillaries for the stepped up portion that would say "TURBO." Any help would be appreciated.

This is what it looks like with the aweful non-matching carpet rolled up a little bit. The 2 gray pieces on the right and left side are sound deadening material/insulation and I think they were cut. The suface of the car is sticky underneath the carpet so obviously there was an adhesive used but I cannot figure out what pieces go between the carpet the and the car.

The "carpet" in my picture is sort of like astro-turf. It is of inferior quality compared to the OEM carpet but, and most importantly, is the wrong color blue. The diagrams I got from Porsche make no sense. I was considering bringing the car to a body shop but I would rather do it myself than pay them steep labor rates plus inflated parts prices.
