Default 996TT US Production

Does anyone have the statistics for 996 TT production shipped to the US by year and type? Specifically, I am trying to determine the number of 996 TT cabs shipped to the US for the 2004 and 2005 model years.

Thanks.

Thanks Dock. No hurry. Just curious.

Maybe when Wikipedia comes back online.

Those numbers do seem low given how much you see these nowadays. But then I think the turn over rate of the cars was/is high enough that the same car is seen for sale multiple times in a short amount of time. Just makes it look like there are many more out there than there are.

I've sent an e-mail to check on the numbers, but my contact is out of the office until the Jan 23. I'll post up what I get when it comes in.

Not many at all. I'm surprised there were more cabs than coupes in 04 and 05. Does that sound right?

Yes there was....308 (sorry for the bad picture) But seems to be a mistake in some of the numbers for 2003 cabriolet ....According to the essential companion the complete production of cabriolet was 308 and as per the previous list 482 exported to the USA.???? I don't know where the first list come from but I thrust the second one from the 996 bible...

Really?? Where are you looking? I still 04 Cabs selling in the upper $50k or low $60k. After 2.5 years, they have been about the same.

According to my contact at PCNA, there were 1,378 Turbo Cabs sold in 2004 and 2005, plus 112 Turbo S Cabs sold in 2005. He didn't break out the specific '04 and '05 Cab numbers.

I have never heard of anyone owning a 2003 996 Turbo Cab in the USA - maybe they weren't sold here that year?
