Talking New wheels finally came in and went on the car today!

When I bought the car it had Kinesis K58 wheels on it which are light and have that deep dish look in the back, but I wanted something different that was all one color and silver instead of grey with polished lips. There weren't a lot of choices as far as I could see for 18 inch in the aftermarket. I had almost went with Fikse Profil 10 mesh style wheels but decided that I wanted to move away from the multi piece step lip look, and that Fikses are more suited to 993 and before cars (IMO).

Then I looked at HREs. I loved the HRE P43S, but it only came in a 19 inch fitment. So I ordered the new R43 even if I was a bit weary of the styling and big hole in the middle of them. They turned out great, moreso from some angles than others Simple yet elegant and very light.

All I could snap today was a few crappy cell phone pics of them on my dirty car, but I hope to get everything cleaned up and update you guys with some proper pictures. I also included a pic I got from HRE so you can see that the spokes have some character and are not just straight all around.

Wheels look good. What do they weigh?

I think lowering the car would give them a more fitting look.

Cool stonework and roof architecture on your home!

not the biggest fan of those wheels. in my opinion, the stockers look much better. But if you like them, thats all that matters though.

The wheels look a lot like the CCW C14 with a little extra texture on the spokes. I'll bet those would be sweet in a dark finish on a track car.

Very nice ! Congratulation. I got a, out of topic question, on the third picture your garage roofs looks strange or uneven, your roof is collapsing or it is the style of the overhaul looks of the garage. I like it! Very original.....

Yes they are similar to the CCWs with the hollowed out center section. I knew they would divide opinion and honestly if the stockers weren't so heavy I probably would have just gotten twists. I appreciate the comments whether positive or negative. Only time will tell if I regret not just putting the money toward an exhaust instead

I will say though that they look better in person and the low-fi cell phone camera pics don't really do it justice.

Wheels are like oil, exhaust, HANS devices, tow vehicles, etc, etc, etc.. Everybody has their own opinion of is the best. All that matters is what you think. What we can do without though is those that disagree that choose to be dicks about it.

Is yours Seal Grey?

I like 'em. Maybe get porsche crest center caps. You can find originals and copies on ebay.

I know you just got them, but they would look awesome if painted to match the Seal Gray. Still look good though.

I like them. I'd love them in black!

Nice choice none-the-less
