I'm later this month.

I'll be in Munich on the specific day, so it will be an Andechs or Augustiner aided celebration.

Thanks, but it's part of my work. I'm over there three or four times a month.

I love Munich, but I'm not on vacation (I'm only there 24 hours).

1)I agree that prices don't seem to have gone down... When I bought my latest NSX a couple of years ago, I had come *very* close to going back to Porsche and into a 996 TT instead. I *saved* the ads of the cars I thought were great deals. Fast forward to today and I got the bug again so started looking around a bit. I don't see any clean cars that are any cheaper than they were 2 years ago.

2) Manheim is an auction. its pretty ridiculous to quote wholesale auction price. Last time I checked, I can't go buy at Manheim nor can anyone else. Outside of desperation to prove a point, it doesn't make sense to reference anything other than clean private sales and dealer sales from known good dealers (not "Joes Cars on Route 11")

If there are cars that are cream puffs somewhere near Doylestown selling for 30k, I'd REALLY like to know b/c Ill go look at one and quite possibly buy it.

Everyone talks a good game when they are neither buying nor selling. I have to say it gets kind of annoying for anyone that *is* either buying or selling.

Here is what appears to be a one owner Turbo with low miles and a clean Carfax for 40k.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...&&aff=national

It is right in my neighborhood, maybe I will go check it out.

Looks good, worth a look, maybe a lowball trade in? Dealer has some good reviews, but i'd be cautious as some really poor ones too.

That's about a 1/4 mile from my office. I will drive by and look. I wouldn't buy a car from Thrift, but it is a "good" price.

Just got my excellence Mag, they had the resale value for the Turbo, 2002 Turbo, max value of 43K, with a 10% adder for low mileage.

Ever take a look at this car? I'm always suspect at these small dealerships, but my interest is definitely piqued.

Drove by the lot twice in last 2 days. Lot consists of about 20 cars and small sales shack. Didn't see a 996 turbo. As I said above, I wouldn't buy a 911 turbo from thrift.
