Congrats on one very beautiful TT. Midnight blue is a great color, it just takes a bit more maintenance. And, remember that oil changes are mileage or time - whichever comes first. You have to change the oil at LEAST once a year, even if you only put 2,000 miles on it.
Welcome to the club. My TT puts out 1.0 bar of boost. That's enough to leave the passenger screaming. Fortunately, their voice is drowned out by the engine.

I also agree on changing the oil when you first buy a car, because it then gives you a base to measure your maintenance on. But I have tempered that view. I have a 2001 Turbo that I just bought. I have no idea when the last oil change was done. I was ready to do an "unscheduled" oil change to get a solid starting point moving forward. Then I read some things about Oil Tests, and particularly sent a few emails, a phone call, and a read of the website for Blackstone Laboratories.
For $25, they will evaluate your oil and by measuring the components in the oil, both additives, and various metal particles, they can tell you if you should get your oil changed right now, or if you can wait another 5K miles. In my wife's Volvo, or my winter Subaru, where I can go to the local "Speedy Lube" and get the oil changed for $19.95, it obviously isn't worth it. But for a Porsche, where the cost of the synthetic oil, filter and labor can cost from $100 for a DIY to $150 to have a shop do it, it seems to me that the $25 for the test is cheap analysis that can provide solid information for you to use.
I don't know that I'm going to do this every 5,000 miles - forever - but I think that for the next few oil changes I'm going to do it so that I can get a feel of how long my oil lasts between changes. Blackstone told me that most of their customers change their oil too often. That's just throwing money down the drain, if you do it blindly. Certainly a car used for DE or Track days is going to use up their oil faster than one just used as a commuter DD.
If I am planning on a 5,000 mile cycle on my oil, but a $25 test tells me that I can go another 5,000 miles, well, I have just saved myself $125. It's something you might want to consider.

Understand but my indy in the next few weeks is doing oil change, coolant replacement, brake fluid flush, and overall check of everything else. From that point I will service annually using my inspection sticker date of February as I had to get the car inspected after I bought it (expired)!

Thanks Chaos. I am liking it too. I have removed the front lip and replaced with the stock black lip (996 505 355 0001C) and euro side marker lights. I need to post that pic as I like the look from the front better.

The front aero lip balances the downforce of the rear...removing it decreases your front downforce...I'd leave it on the car if you drive fast or plan to track the car.
I like the look better....but to each...
Love the color.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Bella,
Good luck with the car - love the color combo.
It looks like the side skirts are not painted which they should have been if it came from the factory with aero kit lip and wing - have them painted when you get the other paint work done.
Nice nice ride!!

New Aero Lip from Suncoast Porsche is $770 plus $70 shipping! The Aero was added after purchase which is why the underneath of the side skirts and rear bumper cover is black. That is one reason for going back to the stock lip. I will keep the Aero Lip in case I track as suggested for downforce at high speed which does make sense. Here it is in the garage.
