I would appreciate any recommendations for a pre-purchase inspection of a 2003 996 Turbo in the Dallas, TX area.

Email: ouanod@earthlink.net

Thank you in advance,

Hey - posted for you over on 6speed too - I would absolutely use RUF - call Hans at 214-269-1572. They do a top notch job for around $250. Let me know what car you're looking at - maybe I know it.

Thanks, Paul.

I spoke with Mark. The 2003 seal grey 996 Turbo is coming in to your shop on Monday morning.
[fingers crossed]

Especially if they have their wheels painted to match.

RUF of Dallas just completed the PPI on the 2003 996 Turbo and declared the car "exceptionally clean." No paint work. Just over 7k miles.

The over-rev data
Range 1 2690
Range 2 11

total hours 321.0

Hans did find a minor leak around the oil pump seal and gave an estimate of $200 parts/labor to fix.

Many thanks to Mark Plummer at RUF who arranged for a speedy inspection.
