I have a durametric tool. What values should I log so I can see my AFR's and injector duty cycle is within range?

Log rpm, injection time and O2 sensor lambda values. AFR = lambda*14.7, and duty cycle (%) = (inj time)*(rpm)/1200.

While you are there, you might as well log engine load, MAF, air temp, ignition angle, boost pressure, boost pressure setpoint too.

This is my old list from Kevin:

RPM
Engine Load
Mass Air Flow
Air intake temp
ignition angle
injection time
oxygen sensing bank 1 lamda value
oxygen sensing bank 2 lamda value
boost pressure of sensor
setpoint boost pressure
boost pressure control P/D factor
correction factor for b/c w/ knock control

Sad to see this happen to anyone. But a good lesson for all of us.

William, I think that your money was better staying in the Bank vs getting this motor. You most likely would have been disappointed. I'll put you on the datalog tool "list" Thanks..

Kevin, is it going to cost around the same as the durametric? If we already have the durametric, is your program going to be still worth buying?

Puma, price will be the same.. Worth buying>> faster logging, more values, individual knock (this alone is worth the price) Do you remember your failing fuel pump ordeal? Knock is key to preventing these engine failures.

Kev, you should include a writeup on how to interpret the numbers, so when we all
buy your unit, we're not all emailing you our results every hour, asking what they
mean!

do you mean there is a knock sensor for every cylinder? Or is the program going to be able to interpret at which cylinder the knock is coming from?

can't wait to see what it will look like.

The engine has one Bosch knock sensor per bank. With the crank sensor and each camshaft sensor the ECU knows which cylinder is firing thus giving us Individual Knock resolution.

nice, that is great, is your program going to be limited to a couple of cars (VIN) like the durametric or will it be free of use? What type of cars is it going to be working on?
