Congrats on the purchase. Mine has 90k and is still running strong. I do have a "clunk in the trunk " issue that I believe can be resolved with new engine and or transmission mounts. Take it to the shop next week. Its strong though , very strong and fast. It burns about a half a quart every 6,000 miles. Keep it under a hundred unless you want to land in the lock up!

The plugs were changed at the 30k service...dealer looking for other causes of misfires as they keep moving...looking at Cam sensors at the moment...and this one is on them....not gonna cost me a dime....sometimes it pays to buy from dealer with warranty.....with this car I am certain it will pay off

Congrats on the purchase....and definitely keep the 951 for the track. You can wring the heck out of it with (slightly) smaller repair bills while keeping the TT pristine. Personally, I'm glad that I learned to drive fast (or less slowly?) with a momentum car like my 951 on the track. Teaches you a lot of the basics that will transfer over to the bigger hp and the electronic saviors of the TT...

951> I would ask them to check the cam sync sensor bracket which is located on the camshaft housing.
I would also install new coilpacks. Regardless if you have to pay for them.
You also need to check your fuel pump. Low fuel pressure will trip random misfires.
Lastly you will have to go into your cam housing to check for broken intake valve tappets.

must have done something with the cam housing. If it happenes again I will have them replace all the coil packs
