Just wondering what you all get when cruising on a long hwy trip. Recently took a 150 mile one way trip and average 23.5 mpg. How about you. The next week autocross and averaged 6.5 mpg as to be expected. No big deal just wondering what kind of mileage you all get. thanks kenny

I did a trip from Montreal to Kittery Maine which is about 310 miles. The speed was below 70 mph on highways, using the cruise control. And a lot of secondary road below 50 mph around Mount Washington and Conway. I was surprise to get 29.5 miles per gallon! My car is completely stock.

I recently got around 27MPG on the way back from the track. Average around 70mph. I have 18g's, 911tuning.com tune and 3" exhaust. Pretty good for a stage 3 car!

About 22.5 max....usually 19-21 on the road and sometimes 8 -12 (track) with a huge wing and frontal winglets....but, on track they let me go around turns faster IMHO....

I get about 23MPG on my daily 50 mile drive. I think I got 24.1MPG once. It would be good to also post the average speed. Typically it is in the 60s for this MPG.

I got 24.3 on the OBC on my cross-country move, 3144 miles from Phoenix to Boston by way of Colorado, Ohio and Upstate NY, including plenty of traffic near metro areas. Averaged in the high 60's MPH
On my 50 mile commute (round trip) I've been averaging about 20. Average 40's MPH.
This is better than I expected from the TT - my 996C2 on a similar commute wasn't any better.

I get about 24 with the AC off and 22 with the AC on in the summer on just a highway cruise. Any idle or stop and go time and the MPGs plummet. I usually drive between 70 and 80 mph and a bit more at times. Also the car has a tip, so that may make a difference as to why I don't see anything over 24.
I wonder if the MPG would go down if I flashed the car? I have been thinking about it for the Autocross events to get better throttle response; not really looking for more power but I guess you gotta take the bitter with the sweet.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

If you want to pick-up a couple MPG's use this web site to find ethanol free gas in your State. Call the gas station to confirm accuracy and availability:
http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=MO
With enthanol free 91 I see improvements of about 2 MPG. With 93 pure gas, I see another bump of about 1-2 MPG's.

I got a little better than 24 mpg on a 600 mile trip; avg speed 74 mph , which included about 30 miles stop and go rush hour traffic. Average = 18 mpg for the last 2000 miles of mostly around town commuting, avg speed 34 mph. I'm ready for another road trip !!

24-27mpg depending on the highway time spent, or 3.5mpg when on the track... I must say that I do run my cruise control most of the time I'm on open 4 lane roads. Cops around me are NUTS!!
