Thank you for all your help guys!

Pongo, unfortunately the closest Porsche dealer to us, is 4.5 hours away. How sad huh? I wish we had one here so I could just pop in and buy goodies for the hubby.

Thanks Mr C. and Land Jet.

Macster, thanks again! I am going to order those today.

Cost in the area of if you have to ask... Don't worry. I'd have to ask too and then slink away with some excuse like I left my checkbook at home. The turbos are very expensive. Factory replacement turbos are in the thousands of dollars each price range. Aftermarket turbos might be less expensive. Larger turbos with more output likely cheaper than factory stock ones but still not inexpensive.

There's no real reason to replace the stock turbos with anything "bigger" which would likely require changes in other areas to max. the benefit of the newer larger turbos and ensure continued engine health unless your husband HP mad.

And if so, if he's really interested in going to bigger turbos, larger intercoolers, etc. for more HP he's better off doing the buying himself so he can get the right setup.

Sincerely,

Macster.

With short metal valve stems, you can use a bench grinder to shorten the caps.
