Misfire diagnosed as loose plugs
Check out posts #18 and 19. Same topic discussed. No specific torque value mentioned...just loose plugs due to lack of diligence.

Default 996 tt misfire in cylinder. 6.

My 2003 996 TT with 42k miles started couples years ago with check engine light that was due to misfire in cyl 6. once code is cleared it will go for a while before the code reappear. I was told to change plugs and coils wish I did at a non dealer porsche expert. Unfortunately the misfire code alwauys the same continue to appear every couple month. I did notice that the code will appear after starting the car and letting it idle before it gets warm. Any suggestion is appreciated. The car run very well with no issues.

Try some fuel system cleaner, do it twice. Might be a faulty injector.
