RICHARD: I got together with Brian and took him for a ride and let him drive the TT. So....Brian, how come your knuckles turned white and all I could hear was you sucking in your breath at 130?? I think Brian has changed his opinion of being disappointed in the performance of the 996TT.

Chuck,
Thanks for your time today!! I'm still shaken as I sit in the training. I'm a believer!! It was unbelievable.

Thanks
Brian

With that said, however, my dad's car feels downright slow when compared to my tt, and pulls NO WHERE near has hard (although mine is flashed). Good luck in your search! I too like the 40th anniversary cars.
One of my best friends has a 997S. We were both driving somewhere and I gave him the 'ole "three honk, let's go". His direct quote after we got where we were going: "I used to think my car was fast... for a second there I thought I was in reverse when you hit the gas".

Awesome! Hope Brian can find a good one soon, and join us again for Taco Tuesday.

Richard,
Look like I wont find one soon. After driven Chuck's car, it's hard to find one as clean and as fast. So I'll hold on for awhile until I find a good one. But I'll join you guys at Taco Tue in my corolla in the mean time. Hahah

Wow you certainly have a wide range....from Corolla to modified 996TT.....that's like going from a bike with training wheels to a 1000cc Kawasaki Ninja....but I am not mad at ya!

Enjoy the search, it will be fun and you should end up with a great car...which ever one you choose.

Hehe, I'm currently driving a corola but I have had a 06 Z4 M for 2 years which was off leased this month and a Ducati 749s which I miss dearly. Driving Chuck's car gave me the same feeling as I was riding my Duc. Pulls hard and quick.

Can someone show me how to post pic from my computer in this forum? It only allows me to post pic from http link.

Thanks

Brian...there's a How-To in the admin section....or go over to the 996 forum and do a search for Posting Pictures....Gota911 (Tim) has explained it to a lot of folks....
