Cool 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo - $35,800

I will make no comments, I have no history on the car, nor any interest... Just thought I would share.

Came across this car...

Again, the guy I bought the wheels from took them off of his newly acquired 45K '01 6 speed that would put most of our cars to shame, at least cosmetically, for $36.5K from an asking price of about $45K. Local one owner Bay Area car that he bought in December.

Would it be correct to surmise that banks are reluctant to loan much money on 7 year old sports cars? That might imply that only someone with cash can make the acquisition, severely shrinking the buyer pool, and drastically altering the supply/demand ratios. I don't think we have seen the worst yet. AS

Woodside Credit just gave me an 8 year loan on a 2002 996TT. I think if you have good credit, financing is not an issue...

Got that right! Which other car at that price point even comes close???

Seriously, 996TT's have got to be the deals (steals) of this season.

To be honest, I can't think of one.
The "911 Turbo" has always been in the conversation of 'production supercars'.
It appears to be the most reliable, daily driver friendly supercar on the road today, especially at current price points.

Amazing.

That having been said, I will still refuse to drive mine in the rain.
There is still a place in the world for 6K mile garage queens.

No, this is a great way to wash off the dust without leaving water spots:

(or so I've been told )

My Turbo has been at the detailer since December, looking forward to seeing it soon.
When I picked up my wife's 993 Targa in December, my jaw literally hit the floor when I saw it complete, so I can't wait to see the Turbo.

I've got to ask what interest rate you got on an 8 year loan?

Something must be taking your time to not be enjoying those cars by driving them. I would sometimes just get in and drive for a few hours just to clear my head.

Or keeping them concours could be how you enjoy them. What is your DD??
