I know how you feel. It took me a while to find the one I wanted, and I looked at quite a few TT until I got the one I liked and had to fly to Chicago from LA to test drive it. IMHO it sounds like a good deal, very low miles for a 2002??? is it an X50? Just a Short Shifter and no other Mods? How much left on the warranty? The good thing is that I'm sure you noticed the price drop in the 9 months you were looking. Good luck. You must be excited.

If that is "the one", then buy it.

Get a hardcopy of the latest CPO program so you understand the differences and exactly what is covered and what is not.

Also remember that the CPO process is NOT a PPI. Some dealers won't let you take the car to an indy for a PPI, some do.
At least ask for a (hardcopy) readout of the ECU, so you know the state of the F/W and overrevs before you take delivery of the vehicle.
Also check the consumables (tires, pads, etc...no, you don't get new pads on a CPO) and ask for the vehicle history/fluid changes/service perfomed to date.
Verify that you have all the keys, manuals, all sets of keys, etc

Good luck

is not an X50 and no other mods. They did the PPI and the car needed a new slave cylinder and accumulator, I made them replace the front lip, The car is flawless, the CPO covers everything except the obvoius stuff(clutch, battery, brakes) plus I get road assistance and all of that. The cars has all 3 keys. The car is a 1 owner bought at the dealer, serviced at the dealer and it was traded in 2 weeks ago for a 997TT at the same dealer. $49.9k in my area is a great deal and also they are giving me fair $$ on my trade...

Buy it...if you try to "low ball" a deal it won't be the car you want...just don't waste time checking prices on cars after you have yours...you feel like you are getting a lot of car for the money..AND YOU ARE. Enjoy it!

Default Buy it

You've done your homework. Took me the same time to find my car. Doing a lot of homework gives you a very good perspective
on the market.

the car is CPO'd so it has starting this saturday 2yrs/100k of bumper to bumper. I know I might be able to get a better deal, maybe mid 40's for a non cpo'd car, but I haven't seen in the whole country as of today an 02 with 23.8k miles CPo'd for $49.9k. I am tired of looking and the car has the right colors/options my GF wanted heated seats, the car has them, so I am going to pick her up in a few hrs...I havent been able to sleep, the wait if killing me.. I will try to get pics tonight..

Its a good deal. A perfect car with CPO should be that price in this market! Go take her home!

Default PICS!

She is home now, omg this car is so beautiful! I can believe I have a Turbo and the power is freaking insane
Something I found odd about the car is that the Boost goes all the way up to 0.9 - 0.8 bar when I press the gas hard, Isnt a stock k16 (non X-50) only supposed to get up to 0.6 - 0.7 bar? The CPO paperwork says that the car is stock.
BTW thanks to all of you for your advice and help!
