It could be that Dock is right about the X73, and if so, I'll swallow my pride, report my error, and do it all over again.
We actually only have bad snow from the end of December thru March, and every once in a while, a big surprise in April. The weather isn't making me change my mind, but the soft 2,000 rpm bottom of the X50 rev range is useful in these conditions. Just drove over a fresh 41/2 inches (untracked out of my drive) with no problem, but clearly flattened the snow berm left by the street plows at the foot of the drive- that was probably 8".
Thanks all. AS

AS,
I have had the X73 for over a year now, I thought I would need new antiroll bars etc, but the X73 has been simply fantastic. Superb handling, perfect ride height. Very well balanced from Porsche. I am VERY happy with the X73.
Good luck.
