There's nothing special about the factory CF pieces. I bought the full CF package on my 2002 turbo and the **** is pealing off and curling all over the place. Don't waste your money on the "good" factory stuff.

ZIPPY: I find that strange...kuz I have probably the same factory CF interior you do; same year and model ...and mine is all tight, colorfast, and looks brand new. The car came from Michigan....maybe it has something to do with cars coming from hot climates like AZ or TX or OK???? Is it related to heat? But in reality, most of these cars spend 95% of their time garaged out of the sun and pampered, yet one will have CF that falls apart, while another doesn't. Are you sure yours was factory? Is it in the option codes?
Your sig block says Canada...so that eliminates the heat theory unless you bought it from the US?

My guess on the CF problems is batch issues.....nothing more sinister. I suspect Porsche has solved the problem to some degree, but it is still epoxy resin....
Had one bike per year go from Kestrel when sponsored.....every year.....like clockwork...each year they promised "new and better and fixed"....by bike 8 they had gotten it down pretty well.
I suspect the same in cars..... After a time, I wonder if we'd all be better off with the ALU stuff or just leather....much more stable.

This is what I'm thinking. Some batches haven't dried enough and they end up curling as they dry after they leave the factory. Still, cost to me has been $2K/year for curled up CF.
