So I ended up grabbing a set of GT3 calipers from a guy who bought them and never used them... Now I'm trying to sort the whole rotor issue out... What are the differences? Are the calipers the same? Are the Rotor "hat" offsets the same? Diameter of rotors the same???

i believe that the rotors need to be larger in diameter so that the calipers can bite. the hat offsets are the same.

If your mounting these to a 996 TT I have a custom set of rotors/hats that work w/ the stock GT3 calipers mounted to the the turbo upright. They have minimal use and are in great shape.

To answer your questions re: the front brakes the rotor diameter is bigger and I believe the offset to be different than that of a turbo.

I've never tried to sell these rotors/hats but believe this to be a perfect match for you. I even have some lightly used Pagid yellows if you're interested.
