I called Bilstein this morning to find out what individual shock part numbers are in the PSS9 kit (GM5-8877-HO). They are closed for the holidays, but the recorded greeting informed me that I had reached "Bilstine". Up till today, I've only heard it pronounced "Bilsteen". I guess that's in the same category as "porsh/porsha" and "roof/rough" (for Ruf).

Since I have your attention, it would be very helpful if you PSS9 owners out there could report back with the part numbers of your front and rear shocks. TIA!

In German, "ei" is generally pronounced 'I", and "ie" is pronounced "E". AS

 

Funny - many many years ago I met someone in Michigan while I was at an SAE trade show - he performed alot of testing of the Bilstein shocks and he pronounced it as intended and it's one of those things I never forgot - but thanks for the friendly reminder!!! T2
