I have been thinking of adding the GT3 seats, but I still take my kids for occasional rides. Will 6-10 yo kids still be able to climb into the back?

Since they are kids, they could probably climb back there, but I would suggest this is optimum. An option is to just replace the drivers seat...and let the kids enter on passenger side.

Yup, I can "barely" squeeze my 210# *** behind my driver's seat, and I'm 5'9". I'd expect kids would be able to with no problems... My wife is 5' tall and a size 2. She has no issues getting back there at all.

Try those seats out first, I found them very uncomfortable at the arms/elbow region. Maybe it's just me
(6'0", 185#) YMMV.

Hey, thanks for the offer! I actually tried them out today. The seats are nice, but it is a stretch to get into the back. Now my biggest concern is wether I can stick a golf bag back there!

It sounds like you're a perfect candidate for the new 997 GT2 seats...they are as good or better than the GT3 seats...and the seat backs tilt forward.

I'll be selling mine by spring (that's the plan right now anyway) as I'm thinking about upgrading to the OMP Pista seats.

I saw them in the Rennsport III event, wow! Very nice indeed. They had them in a Cayman and allowed people to sit in them. Still waiting to see what the price will be on those...

Are 997 seats a direct bolt in?

I talked to Gert at Carnewal about buying the 997 GT2 seats...he said they fit/install on a 996 Turbo with no problems. He said the only problem was...the price. At the time he didn't have a quote, but given his knowledge he said he was sure they would be very expensive.

The 997 GT2 seats would be just what I'm looking for in terms of support, weight, and utility, so I'm keeping an eye on them...
