Default Intercooler Efficiency

While changing the plugs last weekend I took a peek in the inter-cooler assemblies. Both sides had acquired a significant amount of leaf "pluggage".

Check your front bumper cover, your radiators will look similar.

I am very sorry to see this (expected) but I'm surprised that there are no birds or BMWs stuck in there as well

How can we check the rear intercoolers without dismanteling anything ?

Nobody knows how to clean the intercoolers ? can I stick a vacuum cleaner hose into the air intakes; I really hate to think we are loosing cooling capacity here ?
