Default CEL code help

"P0491" and "P0492"
Get them both together. Have reset twice to verify. CEL rtns after 30 - 60 mins of driving. Seems to drive OK - still new to me - but does seem to "surge" a bit at times at lower revs.

Code translates to ""Secondary Air Injection System, Bank 2 (and bank 1) - Below Limit". That unfortunately tells me nothing abt how to find / fix the problem. I've searched and read all I can (including RennTech) - no help here means a trip to a dealer - not a happy option in my area -

Does this define a specific problem? My search found one post, but his was a cut vac line - I found anything wrong on inspection.

Much thanks

Possible fault cause
♦ Secondary air injection pump is not triggered
♦ Secondary air injection pump does not work
♦ Air supply lines restricted
♦ Electric change-over valve does not function
♦ Air change-over valve does not function
♦ Vacuum system leaking

My guess is a hose or connection leak.

Check the connectors to the BOVs. Any leak in the BOVs or the lines going to them will cause this code. Additionally check over the main vacuum hose to the top.
