Hey Guys,

I have just recieved Kevin's unit and I can't seem to plug it into the diagnostic port.

Is there any special trick to it?

Does the port have a cap on it or do I need to force it??

 

You kind of have to force it a little bit and then it will lock in there. There is no cap. You're going to enjoy the extra power!

 

Just to confirm before I force the issue.

The Diagnostic port is the violet colour port on the left side of the car under the glovebox?

 

Is your 2005 a Turbo S?

 

The OBD2 port is violet/purple in color.. There is no cap on the port.

 

My port was to the left of the steering wheel under the dash. I have a 2002 996TT.

 

OMG.......your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car?

I know that I will never win this debate so "YES" it is on the wrong side of the car.

I forced the Unit and presto I got lights!!

Already back in the Post and waiting for Dr Kev to work his magic!!!
