I've posted enough (and become a member ), so finally I can post pix of my new toy. The next step is to decide whose tuning to go with. After a C5 that definitely droned (at 1600 rpm you had to shout to be heard, at 1400 and 1800 rpm you could converse in a normal voice), I'm thinking the EP2L will be the way to go. Nothing louder.

It's midnight blue with a cinnamon interior. Not flashy, but very attactive (at least to me). I love it!

Great looking car, what are the stats? I think the cars with interior colors other than black show off the style/design better. I like your tan interior as much as I like my gray interior. Just my opinion...

Mod-wise, the car came to me with billet diverters, B&M short shifter, and clear side marker lenses. It's an '02 that had 14,222 miles when I bought it. More now, and they've been quite enjoyable!

I was looking for a gray interior, and before I saw this car I would have bet that cinnamon would not work with dark blue. But now I think it does.

My C5 has a black interior, and that 5-1/2 year experience convinced me that I would never have another car with black leather.

Love the colors - really nice deep blue and U think it matches the brown interior perfectly. What are you going to do as far as mods are concerned?

Did you change back to amber side markers?

No, that pic was taken before the conversion to clear.

Modwise, I'm planning for intake/turbos/exhaust to get to the ~550 flywheel hp level, with a serious bias towards minimal lag and low end torque. My other car (that needs to get sold!) is a Magacharged C5 with long tube headers and a full 3" dual exhaust. Major torque monster! I don't expect the tt to match the C5 from idle to 2000, but from there on up I do.

I'm also looking at the CCW SP16A wheels. But that's all in the hazy future. For now I just want to enjoy driving it.

I know Santana Row is popular with the bay area f-car crowd - how many p-car locals attend? It would be nice to meet a few of you guys!
