Post Central NJ - Any good roads...

I'm in monmouth county, NJ and have finished the break in on my '03 cab. All I need to do is find some good roads for early morning spirited driving. Anyone have any suggestions?

Dr. G, I think you're going to have a tough time finding anything in Monmouth County that allows for "early morning spitited driving" - been looking for 5 yrs. Try the next NJ rennlist meet in Randolph, NJ (hopefully to be scheduled soon!). I think there are some very nice roads (and fewer police) up north (or east).

There are alot of good early morning roads in Hunterdon county and just accross the river into the New Hope area. When I lived in Hunterdon county that is all I ever did, tear up the backroads for a while and then get some breakfast at Sky Manor airport. Definately worth the drive from Monmouth.

hi doc. if you cross that bridge into new hope, just make a right hand turn to go north up the deleware river, on rt. 32 or something, which turns into 611, which goes into easton. i have a motorcycle and have done this ride. beautiful scenery. you can take 78 home from easton. by the way, aren't you the guy that i sent to michael schwartz. if you are, how are you liking the car?

Docs,
Yes that is plural. I often ride my motorcycle in the area you are speaking of. Fabulous roads!
This is the area I wanted to propose for a Porsche meet. Would you guys be interested in meeting up for a ride or drive sometime?

docjackson,
What type of bike do you ride (Sport, cruiser, etc.)?

Doc - yes, it was me you referred to Michael and my experience at Schneider Nelson was very pleasant. There was no BS to deal with and the car was ready for delivery within a few days of my initial meeting with them.

My car also had a problem with the leather (natural brown) seperating from the seat after a few days. They took the car the day I called and I had it back very quickly. The other nice thing about the process is that because Schneider Nelson is also an Audi dealer I can return my 2001 TT to them at the end of my lease in August. Perhaps the fact that I took a 996 cab from them will help with the end of the lease charges on the TT. I know that my previous dealer kept telling me they would help with some of the charges if I took another Audi.

Thanks again for the help. I'm sure I'm going to buy my next Porsche from them also (next generation Turbo).

32 North of New Hope is awesome. You just need to go early before all the touristy traffic starts to build up. Another thing to watch out for is cyclist, I've almost ended up wearing one as a hood ornament on occasion.

This Sunday looks good for me.
Sean, what town are you in?
Is anyone else out there interested?
