I'm still confused about my boost!?!
I posted a thread this weekend about my recent 996tt purchase and GIAC flash (MY01 Tip, totally stock except for the GIAC flash), and I appreciate the responses I received. I'm willing to except that I have some improvement in performance, although not a huge difference ..... well, today it's about 15 degrees hotter than it was when I was seeing 0.9 bar regularly, and I'm down about 0.1 or even 0.2 bar since then!
Is this just because of the heat (about 92 degrees and 40% humidity), or should I be concerned about the flash not doing what it should? Thanks for any advice.

Per the Porsche owners manual. Boost output will change due to climate and octane.
As the temps increase you boost output will tend to go down.

Maybe if I get a chance this evening when it cools down, I'll head out again and see if I get the higher boost I had before. Thanks again for the reply.

you should see 1.0 bar boost for the $ the program costs. however, everything else has to be right also. temp and humidity, also I think upgraded diverters and wastegate springs help alot.

All GIAC programing within each stage should be the same.
