Sorry for any confusion...but I am not the one with the brother, "996" aka "Ray" is the person that ran against his brother. I simply relayed his experience, as it pertained to this thread.
Also, for those interested, there is a 1/4 mile run on dragtimes.com of a '07 997tt that ran 11.71 @121.02. It appears to be the tiptronic transmission, which is faster than the 6-speed.

Thanks! I am running the FVD K24 program with K16/24 low clearance hybrid turbos (not zero clearance) - by The Speed Gallery.
BTW - I am going back to the track on a cooler day this fall and I'm hoping to run a shade faster. Under the right conditions, I think the car has an 11.6 @ 125 in it - maybe 11.5, if I get real lucky.
It was 90 degrees and very humid on the day of those runs and I was running with a cracked coil. My coil started acting up the evening before the track day and was replaced the following week, so all things considered, I feel that I may have left something on the table, but maybe not. I am determined and anxious to find out.
